Jack Stewart

    Jack is a sophomore mechanical engineering major from Prospect, Kentucky. He is a Patterson Scholar and a member of the Engineering Scholars in Undergraduate Research program, which allows him to spend a semester investigating the calibration of 3D scanners for use in autonomous roadway monitoring systems. In addition to continuing his research, this year he is serving as the Executive Philanthropy Chair of Triangle Fraternity and continuing his studies as part of the Lewis Honors College. He plans to work in the space exploration industry after spending the summer researching steering mechanisms for ion propulsion engines.  In his free time, he enjoys machining, woodworking, mountain biking and drawing.
