Mission Statement
The Office of Development provides College
of Engineering alumni and friends mutually-beneficial opportunities
to financially support the College.
To ensure excellence for engineering
programs which goes beyond that provided through public funding, the
Office of Development is charged with all private fund raising activities
for the College. Since its beginning in 1983, the Office has worked
with College alumni, friends, corporations and foundations. These individuals
and organizations have given over $15 million to support the many needs
of the College. The generosity of these special partners has allowed
the College endowment to grow to more than $30 million.
A new system is making the process
of giving to the College of Engineering more convenient. You can now
use the Internet to make your contribution. The online system is safe,
strictly confidential and secure. You will be asked pertinent information
such as your name and address, credit card number and the amount of
your gift as well as to what program you would like your gift designated.
You will receive an email confirmation once your gift form has been
submitted and processed. Click
here to go to this site.
The College's needs are constantly
changing as the needs of the academic departments and support organizations
and programs change. As the College grows, new and different needs arise
which are not anticipated today. Therefore, the list of the College's
potential needs is truly endless and limited only by the donor's and
the College's imagination and vision. Donors are invited to share in
the shaping of the College's future by discussing ways in which private
support will help to meet the College's emerging needs.
