If you have a need for co-ops to start summer or fall ’12, please contact Ilka Balk or Marsha Phillips to obtain co-op resumes for students seeking an alternating, co-op positions. Co-op resumes are not necessarily on the Career Center’s Wildcat Career Link online resume database.
If you would like to interview co-op candidates, we can reserve an interview room for you at the UK James W. Stuckert Career Center on Rose Street . Interview dates on campus are always available. We encourage you to interview co-op applicants at your location, if your facility is located close enough for that to be a feasible option.
If your organization wishes to increase its presence in the College of Engineering, we will be more than happy to refer you to student organizations, classes or other ways to showcase your organization on campus.
Most of the recruiting for spring 2013 co-op positions will take place in the fall, 2012 semester. The fall 2012 career fair, sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers, will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, from 12-4 pm in the UK Student Center Ballroom. Registration for this event will go live in the summer 2012.
Please note that in the fall 2013, Tau Beta Pi, an engineering honor society, will hold it’s national convention in Lexington during our career fair week. If you are looking for opportunities to connect with student members of Tau Beta Pi, please e-mail Ilka Balk to be connected. There will be events and a separate career fair taking place at the Lexington Convention Center for the 500 plus engineering students from across the nation attending this fair.
