The mission of the Department of Marketing and Communications is to increase public awareness and support of the College of Engineering’s role in providing instruction, research and service to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond.
The Marketing and Communications team plans, directs, and manages the College’s overall communications and marketing effort. All college level publications such as Quadrangle, the magazine for alumni and friends of the College, the annual report, informational brochures, and other printed material is produced by the Department of Marketing and Communications. The department also oversees the production and editing of the College’s web pages.
The department is also charged with managing public relations and marketing activities for the College. As such, it is the liaison with UK Public Relations and with representatives of the print and electronic media in publicizing achievements of the faculty, staff, and students, events and other College of Engineering programs and initiatives.
