All activities conducted by both the Chemical Engineering Program & the Materials Engineering Program are carried out to help fulfill our Vision and Mission statements. Our faculty pursue an important long-term goal: develop top-25 graduate programs while maintaining excellent undergraduate programs.

Educational Objectives of the Programs

1. Prepare students to successfully pursue careers in engineering practice and/or academia;
2. Provide a broad education as a foundation for life-long learning; and
3. Equip the students with the ability to carry out problem-solving strategies in engineering
