Chemical engineering students from the University of Kentucky recently attended the AIChE Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City:  32 undergraduates from Lexington and 6 undergraduates from Paducah attended the meeting and participated in a wide range of conference events.  Thirteen students from Lexington presented original research in the Undergraduate Student Poster Session. Seven of these students were recognized with competitive poster awards:  Zhengwang He and Sameh Mehrez (1st Place Awards),  Chris Stevens and Anastasia Kruse (2nd Place Awards), Landon Mills, Justin Byarski, and Craig Needham (3rd Place Awards).  Both the Lexington and Paducah chapters received Outstanding Student Chapter Awards at the meeting.
