CE Honors Eight at Awards Program

Eight civil engineering graduates were honored April 23, 2005 at the department's annual awards reception and banquet at Embassy Suites in Lexington.

Lifetime Achievement Awards, presented by the Construction Management Founders Society and the Department of Civil Engineering, went to:

• Philip C. Annis
• H. Dale Blythe
• W. David Curry

Career Achievement Awards, presented by UK Civil Engineering alumni, went to:

• O. Larry Depp, Jr.
• O. Gilbert Newman
• Bobby O. Hardin

The Young Construction Engineer of the Year Award was presented to — Arthur E. Walker III

The Young Civil Engineer of the Year was presented to — James Jeffrey Griffin.

The reception was hosted by the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors.
