UK BIG BLUE Launch - EOSS-66

Flight Watch Tracking
Launch Time: 7:00 am MST, May 3, 2003
Mission Status: Success!

The package touched down at about 9:15 MST, and our recovery teams were right behind it. There was some slight impact damage to the aircraft, but overall, the mission was a huge success. The wings deployed and cured just as predicted, and all the onboard equipment operated as planned. Pictures from the onboard digital camera will be posted shortly.

Note: Due to some technical difficulties with the EOSS flight package (K0YUK-11), we lost web tracking for the descent portion of the flight, but the APRS system in the BIG BLUE package (KG4YLM-11) continued transmitting. The tracking image below has been updated to reflect the entire flight path.
