The UK College of Engineering Alumni Association recognizes that some of the college’s best assets are its students. To honor these outstanding students, the Alumni Association is once again sponsoring the Senior Leadership Award to be awarded at the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Awards Banquet.
The following outlines the criteria for each award. Students may self-nominate or be nominated by a faculty member and will be determined by their demonstrated service to the college and the university through leadership in campus activities and student organizations.
The recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship per semester for two semesters.
- Student must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours
- Student must be in good academic standing with the university and have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must include a letter of recommendation from a faculty member
- Must include a resume containing a complete list of the student’s activities
