Silverstein honored by ASEE

Dr. David Silverstein, associate professor of chemical engineering, has been selected to receive the 2007 Ray W. Fahien Award from the Chemical Engineering Division of the American Society for Engineering Education.

Dr. David Silverstein

The award is given annually to an educator who has shown evidence of vision and contribution to chemical engineering education. The award consists of a $1,500 stipend and a plaque to be presented at the Chemical Engineering Division Banquet of the ASEE Annual Conference in Hawaii.

Educators who have been faculty members for not more than 10 years are eligible.

Silverstein is a member of the faculty at the College of Engineering Extended Campus Program in Paducah.
