Attention Potential and Current ECE Graduate Students

You should visit this site periodically for important announcements

1. General Information regarding ECE graduate program: visit http://www.engr.uky.edu/ece/graduate/index.html

2. Prospective Graduate Students:

Admission Application: (1) The only program specific requirement is to fill the ECE PhD Program Applicant Information or ECE MS Program Applicant Information  and email the filled form to the DGS at ymzhang@engr.uky.edu  (2) Do not send the department your transcripts, official GRE and Tofel scores. Send them to the Graduate School directly.

Financial Support: There are three major types of financial support for new graduate students: Kentucky Graduate Scholarship, Teaching Assistantship, and Research Assistantship.

(1) The Kentucky Graduate Scholarship will be considered/awarded automatically by the Graduate School based on your undergraduate GPA and no specific application is needed.

(2) If you are interested in a RA position, you have to contact individual professors.

(3) The TA position will be considered by the department automatically and no application is needed for new students. However, the TA position is very competitive because of the limited number of openings. In addition, the TA positions will be primarily used to support PhD students.

(1) You have to fill the ECE Graduate Student Academic Information Form and email it to the DGS at ymzhang@engr.uky.edu and copy to Danielle Green-Hinkle (dgreen@engr.uky.edu) in the first week each semester or whenever changes occur.
