    Hotel Information

    The official conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Lexington. The conference rate is $99 per night per room. To receive this rate, you must mention "Society of Women Engineers" and make your reservations through the hotel by Friday, October 23rd.     The First Ever Poster Session

    In the spirit of fostering learning and recognizing achievement, the 1998 SWE Region G Conference Committee is sponsoring a Poster Presentation Session. This is open to all Members, Graduate Students, and Students. Affiliation with the Society of Women Engineers is not needed to participate in this educational experience. Student posters will be judged for meritorious recognition based upon the poster design and the author's ability to discuss their topic.

    Topics of Interest
    The Region G Conference Committee cordially invites interested parties to present posters that display either research conducted in a scientific or related field (The research does not have to be original.) or that displays a scientific topic that interests the author.

    Submission Instructions
    For the purpose of selection, an abstract briefly outlining the scope of research should be submitted according to the time schedule below. The abstract should be attached to the Poster Session Registration Form (also below). To be considered for acceptance, the abstract should:

    Friday, October 23 - Final postmark date accepted for abstracts
    Monday, November 2 - Notification of acceptance via e-mail
    Saturday, November 14 - Poster Session at the conference
