Dr. Lau's Research Projects

Since arriving at the University of Kentucky, I have had to expand my research interests beyond halftoning, and thanks to collaborations with Kevin Donohue and Larry Hassebrook, I have establised a broad array of imaging interests that range from medical imaging of the prostate to human-computer interaction through hand and body gesture recognition. Currently, these other projects are still in the early proposal stage, but in time, my contributions to the field will grow as has my halftoning contributions. Following the links along the left side of this page will revel specific information regarding each project, and I hope that you take the time to explore each link.
