I can generally be found in my office or DVT 302. If the door is open (the usual case) I am available for questions or discussion. If I am not in my office or the lab email is more likely to reach me before a phone message.

Research

My general interests include Embedded Systems, High-Performance Computing, Checkpointing, Fault-tolerance, and Distributed Computing. In particular I am currently emphasizing power-aware scheduling in real-time embedded systems.

I run the KAOS Software Develpment lab and affiliated with "The Aggregate".

Students, please read my plagiarism ploicy. It gives the definition of plagiarism that will be used in my classes and when I review theses. It also has some examples that should be helpful in deciding what to do and what not to do. Also, these principles apply outside of the University any time you are writing a document that the public will view.

Also, please see my list of Common Writing Problems for tips on writing better documents.
