Concepts of linear systems, singularity functions, convolution and superposition integrals, state­variable method for linear systems, relation between transfer function and state­variable equations, fundamental matrix, state­transition matrix, unit­impulse response matrix, and transmission matrix. Prerequisite: EE 421G

PREREQUISITES BY TOPIC:
1. State variable analysis of analog systems.
2. Signal representation and time domain analysis.
3. Fourier and Laplace transform analysis.

GOALS:
This course is designed to graduate students in electrical engineering a fundamental understanding of the theory of deterministic systems.
